Biketour Cycling Through the Verwall Nature Reserve in Montafon

There’s no doubt about it: this bike tour is long and demanding. But it’s worth it – the scenery is uniquely beautiful. With an e-bike, you can circle the entire Verwall mountain range.

The tour begins with a ride through the wild and romantic Ganifer Valley and leads to the beautifully located Neue Heilbronner Hütte with its Scheid lakes. From there, you can look forward to some challenging trails, which in places require pushing your bike. The beauty of the untouched Verwall valley more than rewards the effort. Passing impressive mountain peaks and lush alpine meadows, the route continues towards the Konstanzer Hütte. After that, a 15 km descent to St. Anton am Arlberg gives you time to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air. From there, you take the train to Bludenz, before cycling along the Ill cycle path back to Schruns.

You can do the tour independently or with a guide. Montafon Tourism offers this mountain experience once a week during summer.
