Geologically, Montafon is a truly fascinating area. In this relatively small valley, the greatest geological diversity of the Alps was formed millions of years ago, with a colourful variety of rocks. While hiking through the three mountain ranges that frame Montafon – the Rätikon, Verwall and Silvretta – you’ll discover a natural diversity that represents half of Europe.
